Front Desk (Part Time)
The front desk is the first and last impression our members and potential members experience when visiting our club.
Therefore, we are looking for confident, outgoing, and personable individuals that must naturally carry a compassion for people and a genuine desire to service the customer.
This person must be able to think on their feet and truly understand members emotions. They must be able to see a problem before it happens and see when a member needs assistance before they ask for it.
We can teach this person the technical part of the job but we can’t teach them how to sincerely care about members. To work at the front desk, excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude go a long way in our book.
The hours at front desk are generally part time and start as early as 8:00AM and finish as late as 8:00PM. At the moment we are seeking someone to work 1 or 2 evenings and 1 day on alternating weekends. As long as you have the basic personality skills mentioned and flexibility in work hours, you could be that person we are looking for!
Other attributes that would put you at the top of the list include:
Current First aid and CPR
Experience in MS Word, Excel and any POS system
Experience in any customer service job related job.
Answering and Making Phone Calls: Be the friendly voice that assists members and prospective members over the phone.
Selling Memberships: Help individuals choose the right membership that fits their fitness goals.
Greeting and Interacting with Members: Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone entering our facility.
Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring a positive experience for all our members.
