WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?
How Does Physiotherapy Work?
-
The Physiotherapist learns about your medical history and current condition
-
The Physiotherapist then assesses you and provides a diagnoses for your condition
-
Finally, the Physiotherapist will create a treatment plan based on the diagnosis of your condition. The treatment plan is a prescription of exercises and treatments conducted by the Physiotherapist or a Physiotherapy Assistant.
-
In addition, you will be provided with exercises to be done at home.
41% of patients looking for a drug-free pain relief option found physical therapy to be the most effective alternative treatment

Is Physiotherapy Right For You?
Physiotherapy is intended as both a method of early intervention and as a post trauma solution for people of all ages and abilities.
We recommend physiotherapy to anyone struggling with normal day to day activities because of pain, shortness of breath, poor balance, or lack of strength.
Regardless of activity level, age or ability, physiotherapy helps to restore, maintain, and make the most of your mobility, function, and well-being.
Most people don’t use their physiotherapy benefits until they’re hurt. Ideally, you should book a check-up with a physiotherapist every 6 - 9 months for a general assessment just as you would a dentist.
Do My Insurance Benefits Cover Physiotherapy?
To find out if physiotherapy is covered in your current insurance plan, contact your current extended benefits provider for physiotherapy coverage limits.
What If I Don't Have Insurance Benefits?
Not a problem! We've got you covered! We offer special discounts to those without benefits at an affordable rate.
