We are excited to announce our newest service at Body Fit….in-house physiotherapy! Starting on Tuesday November 30th our Registered Physiotherapist, Shinali Shah, will be taking appointments but spots will be limited to start so please let me know if you are interested so I can mark you down for one of the first days. If you have any aches or pains (which I am sure most of you do) then this might be able to help.

Body Fit will be following the latest Provincial Regulations set out under the ReOpening Ontario Act.  More specifically, all patrons MUST provide proof of FULL vaccination in order to use the gym.  There are very few exceptions to this new regulation and all the details can be found here: Proof of Vaccine Guidance

Commencing Wednesday September 22, 2021 we will “de-activate” the automated turnstile access for all members.  Once Proof of Vaccination has been presented, we will permanently re-activate gate access on an individual basis.  Therefore, members will only have to show Proof of Vaccination once.

We are not permitted to retain your Proof of Vaccination under the regulation.  Instead, we will simply make a note in each members profile that Proof of Vaccination has been provided.

There are several methods to provide Proof, all of which can be found at the link above.  However, if you have a green health card, we have found that the easiest way to obtain a .pdf copy of your receipt is at this link: Get Your Proof of Vaccination Here.

For those that are NOT vaccinated but have current memberships, we are providing the option to put your membership on hold very similar to how it was done during lockdown.  To do this, you MUST contact us directly to start the process at info@bodyfit.ca.  This will be done on an individual basis and NOT automatically.  Once the Proof of Vaccine requirement is lifted, those memberships that were held will be re-activated automatically.

We thank everyone in advance for their understanding and cooperation.

In this weeks video, we’re answering your questions. We love when people ask us questions. It shows us that you’re interested in learning more about how to be healthy and we’re always more than happy to chat about your health goals and needs. Today we’re covering two questions we get asked on a fairly regular basis. Question #1 – “What’s the correct technique for the rowing machine?” And question #2 – “I was 5 pounds heavier on my scale at home, what’s up with that?”
