The 7-week challenge has really opened my eyes to a new way of life and taught me things that will aid me going forward. I have been really fortunate to be a part of this program and it allowed me to meet some incredible people and experience personal training for the first time. There were definitely a lot of challenges to overcome throughout the program and the meal plan was among one of the hardest challenges. The training portion of the program definitely kicked my butt and allowed me to learn how to really work until you drop. The trainers were both incredible and I really liked working with two trainers instead of one, it really allowed us to see how personal training varies with each trainer. The food portion was definitely a struggle; I hate bland food so it was hard to cook with no sauces, oils or salt. Going forward I am definitely going to try to continue eating clean but I will be adding some of the flavours back in. Whether I have “successfully” completed the challenge or not, I have still been able to commit myself to something for my betterment over the past few weeks and I am proud of the accomplishment that I did have. This is definitely not where my weight loss journey ends and I will be moving forward to shed some more pounds and put on some more muscle. “The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step”; the 7- week challenge has been that first step for me and I cant wait to keep going.
