I have always enjoyed being active, particularly swimming, cycling, running, weight training and exercise classes.
I have been an ongoing gym member since I was 16 years old, but I had many health issues between having my 4 children that made working out impossible at times due to severe lack of energy and hormonal imbalances. It has been very tough at times in my life to not have the energy to walk up the stairs, let alone to exercise.
I joined Body Fit 2 years after moving to Uxbridge and having gained 16lbs. I had to get the weight off to feel better about myself again! With 4 hard months of eating much less and more sensibly, swimming, running and working out at Body Fir most days, I was back to my old self again! What came as a pleasant surprise was my improved fitness level and health. My energy level had increased to it’s old self again and my health issues are now history.
The camaraderie from other members and the fantastic team of staff at Body Fit Health Club are very unique and special. It’s nice to challenge yourself and then be able to enjoy your accomplishments! It’s wonderful to get back to a great fitness level and not tire out from everyday life with 4 busy children. I have always wanted to at least be able to keep up with them!
